Overcome anxiety, break free from unhelpful habits and shift negative thought patterns through a practical, empowering approach.

My aim is to support you in understanding the core elements of your experience; your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, so you can build greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and a sense of control. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies tailored to your needs, helping you create lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

Move toward a calmer, clearer and more confident version of yourself with the tools to sustain emotional well-being for the long term.
Available Services
Subclinical anxiety
I offer evidence-based hypnotherapy to help you navigate a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:

-
Work-related stress
-
Panic responses and anxiety management
-
Phobias and irrational fears
-
Life events and transitions, such as:
-
Preparing for interviews or career changes
-
The birth of a child and navigating parenthood
-
Returning to work after maternity leave
-
Many clients find that as we address these areas, they notice positive changes in the physical symptoms of anxiety, such as reduced muscle tension, improved sleep and an overall sense of calm and clarity.
Habit reversal
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy can support you in overcoming repetitive body-focused behaviours, such as skin picking (dermatillomania) and similar habits. These behaviours often become automatic responses to stress, anxiety or emotional discomfort; providing temporary relief while reinforcing unhelpful patterns over time.

Together, we will:
-
Explore the triggers and emotional drivers behind the behaviour
-
Increase awareness of the habit as it occurs
-
Introduce evidence-based coping strategies to interrupt and replace the habit
-
Use hypnosis to mentally rehearse positive behavioural change
-
Build emotional resilience and self-regulation skills
Progress requires active participation and commitment, but with the right support and structure, meaningful change is absolutely possible.

Please note: I am not currently offering smoking cessation support.
Improving self-confidence
Developing a positive, balanced view of yourself is key to building genuine self-confidence. Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy helps you explore the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours that may be undermining your confidence and teaches you how to challenge and replace them with more helpful alternatives.
Through a structured, evidence-based approach, CBH can help you:
-
Identify unhelpful thinking patterns (e.g. self-doubt, negative self-talk, perfectionism)
-
Develop more realistic and compassionate self-beliefs
-
Recognise and celebrate your strengths and achievements
-
Practise new behaviours that build confidence in real-life situations
-
Use ego-strengthening techniques to enhance emotional resilience and inner security
-

Together, we will work to deepen your self-awareness and support lasting change so you can begin to trust in yourself and your abilities with ease.

My Approach
Evidence-based
I use evidence-based methods to support you on your therapeutic journey, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrating hypnosis to enhance the process.

Through psychoeducation, I’ll help you understand the theories and techniques used, so you feel informed, involved, and empowered throughout our work together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’ll be here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Individual Sessions

Each session is tailored to address your unique concerns and help you move beyond limiting beliefs and behaviours. Using a collaborative, evidence-based approach, we’ll work together to break free from negative thought patterns and support you in building a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Setting realistic and achievable goals is a key part of the process. I’ll develop a personalised treatment plan that adapts as we progress, ensuring your therapy remains responsive to your needs.

Online or Face to Face
You can choose to enjoy our sessions in person or from the comfort of your own home via video call. Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions, ensuring you receive the support you need no matter where you are.

My therapy room is conveniently located in the centre of Evesham, within easy reach of several nearby car parks, bus stops and a train station. Please note that there are steps leading to the property, which may affect accessibility.
Getting in contact
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a discovery call, please select the contact tab and I’ll get back to you and arrange a convenient time to speak. My phone remains off during client sessions, so email is the best way to reach me.

All enquiries are offered a free 20 minute discovery call. This is a chance for us to briefly explore your goals for therapy and to determine whether hypnotherapy is the right fit for you.

As part of this process, you’ll be asked to complete some brief clinical questionnaires. In certain cases, I may advise seeking support from alternative or additional services.
Please ensure you review the section of my website outlining the areas I work with.

During our sessions, I will provide you with a range of tools to help you overcome your presenting issue and maintain your progress long into the future.

You’ll be supported with techniques such as self-hypnosis, mindfulness, and personalised audio recordings, alongside a variety of other evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs.

You will be encouraged to take an active role between sessions to engage with the tool kits provided.
Session Fees
-
Initial Consultation Session (90 minutes): £75
-
Subsequent Sessions (1 hour): £60
I generally recommend budgeting for a minimum of six sessions, although this can vary depending on your individual needs and goals.
A clearer estimate of the number of sessions required will be discussed during our first appointment.
To maintain therapeutic momentum and support the effectiveness of your progress, I advise scheduling sessions no more than 10 days apart.

Hypnotherapy - Myth Busting:
Will I be 'cured' after one session?
The short answer is no. As human beings, we are complex, with a lifetime of experiences shaping how we think, feel and behave. While a single session may offer insight or temporary relief, hypnotherapy is not a quick fix—and it doesn’t involve magic or mystical powers.

Instead, our work together will involve carefully structured conversations informed by principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We will explore and begin to untangle the thought patterns, emotional responses and behaviours that may be holding you back.

Hypnosis is used within this framework to help you mentally rehearse and experience new ways of managing challenging situations; building confidence, clarity and emotional resilience over time.
Will I be able to experience hypnosis?
Yes, you can! In fact, most of us naturally enter hypnotic states every day without realising it. When you find yourself deeply focused; whether imagining worst-case scenarios, doubting your abilities, or mentally rehearsing difficult situations, you are already engaging in a form of self-hypnosis, often unintentionally and negatively.

Hypnosis in a therapeutic setting simply guides this natural ability in a more positive, purposeful direction.

Many people describe the experience as similar to a vivid daydream. You’ll likely feel deeply relaxed, both physically and mentally, while remaining fully aware of your surroundings. You might notice everyday sounds like traffic or distant voices, but you’ll naturally choose to pay less attention to them as your focus turns inward.

It’s a gentle, collaborative process and you remain in control throughout.
Can I get stuck in hypnosis or be made to do something against my will?
No; you remain in full control at all times. Hypnotherapy is not mind control and should not be confused with stage hypnosis used for entertainment. It is a collaborative process and you will never be asked to do anything against your will. In fact, not every session needs to include hypnosis at all.

During hypnosis, you will likely feel deeply relaxed, but you are still fully aware. You can cough, adjust your position, or even open your eyes whenever you wish. At the end of the session, I will gently guide you back to the present moment, but you also have the ability to end hypnosis yourself at any time.

Hypnotherapy is a safe, supportive experience designed to work with you, not control you.
